Our new trainee engineer Reece installing one our Solar Powered Radar Speed Signs. These signs are a great way to highlight site speed limits as they give a very visible indication to drivers and other site personnel of the speed of approaching vehicles. This particular sign is also monitored by a solar powered CCTV camera that is monitored in the site’s weighbridge. It will run all year round of its own solar power pack and this model features an LED display that shows ‘THANK YOU’ and a smiley face if you are below the speed limit or ‘SLOW DOWN’ and a sad face if the speed limit is exceeded.
