The Mk2 TS Inclinometer is also available for mobile plant applications where it has been used in various roles. When fitted to articulated haulers and dumper (such as CAT740, Volvo A40 etc.) the inclinometer is used as a roll over protection system which constantly monitors the vehicle angle as it moves around site. The systems have been specially adapted for this type of vehicle and includes the following features...
- Up to 15° Left and Right inclination measurement for off road operations.
- Body Up/Down alarm limits. For example, the system can be set to alarm at a lower angle when the tipper body is raised. e.g. 12° running with body down, 6° with body raised.
This system has been proven to prevent mobile plant overturns when maneuvering around quarrry sites.
The system is also been currently fitted to shovel loading vehicles to assist in the levelling out quarry sites. This version of the TS Inclinometer has no alarm feature and measures up to 15° left and right.
