Alfred Hymas Ltd. adopt the TS Inclinometer - June 2008
Alfred Hymas Ltd. of Burton Leonard, near Harrogate have adopted the TS Inclinometer as part of their ongoing safety initiative. It is clear that managing director, Stewart Hymas, puts the care of his employees at the forefront of his business. Over the past 3 years we have supplied our standard Inclinometer and more recently our new Rigid Inclinometer System.
He has also supported us over the past 2 years at the TIP-EX Show in Harrogate by exhibiting Hymas vehicles fitted with the TS Inclinometer systems.

HVDS Featured in Hungarian Trucking Magazine - March 2008
Many thanks to Bertalan Kiss of the Hungarian magazine 'CAMION Truck & Bus' for publishing an article on the Transport Support HVDS (High Voltage Detection System). In Hungary there is a serious issue of vehicles hitting overhead power cables as there is high density of low level power lines from trolley buses and trams etc combined with a high proportion of vehicles with onboard cranes and high sided vehicles.

TS Inclinometer now available with or without cut off valve - January 2008
As of 1st January 2008 Transport Support will be offering various TS Inclinometer systems with or without the tipper cut-off valve. We have made this option available for customer who want to use the TS Inclinometer purely as a tipping aid. Please feel free to contact us to discuss which option may be best for you.

Tarmac fit new TS remote safety light to quarrying plant - December 2007
Richard Hunter – Tarmac Quarry Manager (Dene Quarry), has co-ordinated the purchase of 34 TS Remote Control Timer Lights which are to be fitted at various Tarmac quarries and will mainly be installed on mobile quarrying vehicles. This has been initiated after a winter work risk assessment highlighted the difficulty in accessing vehicles in the dark.
Two new products are launched - December 2007

Hanson Aggregates adopt the TS HVDS - October 2007
Hanson Aggregates have now adopted the TS HVDS (High Voltage Detection System) as standard on all new rigid and articulated tipping vehicles. Transport Support currently supply Hanson franchisees with the TS Inclinometer, HVDS and various reversing camera systems as well as some specialized bespoke projects.
Launch of new Sat Nav range - October 2007
We are please to announce that Transport Support now stock a full range of Sat Nav systems. The current range is from Via Michelin Satellite Navigation, with three well featured models in the range. We also hope to launch further ranges of Sat Nav equipment in the near future.

QPA Membership - August 2007
This month we are pleased to announce that we have joined the Quarry Products Association as an associate member. In 2006, a number of Transport Support products have been recognized in the QPA Best Practice Awards and our safety systems have been featured in the QPA 'Sharing Good Practice 06/07' guide. We will continue to work along side the QPA and the quarrying industry to raise awareness of Health & Safety issues.
E.Nixon & Sons Adopt the TS Inclinometer - August 2007
E.Nixon & Sons of Chester have just adopted the TS Inclinometer for contract work with Morgan Est. This comes after many months of development work between Morgan Est, Hanson Aggregates and E.Nixon and Sons. This specification includes a 7" TFT reversing camera, TS Inclinometer and tailgate/body up sensor. See the TS Complete Vehicle Safety System for further details.

TIP-EX 08 Exhibition

Transport Support Launches HVDS - June 2007
Transport support is proud to announce the launch of the new TS HVDS (High Voltage Detection System). The HVDS is a warning device which has been designed to help prevent vehicles with a variable height form coming into contact with high voltage overhead power lines. The system consists of a roof mounted detection antenna and in cab audio visual warning unit. The system is capable of detecting high voltage power lines up to 100 metres away and is currently being evaluated by several major aggregate/construction companies here in the UK and overseas.

Hanson adopt TS Inclinometer - April 2007
Hanson has adopted the TS Inclinometer as standard specification on all new and existing articulated tipper vehicles. This comes after an 18 month project involving management and staff at Hanson's Asphalt Plant in Bradford. Special thanks to Mike Whitaker, Gary Sleet and Bal Dhillon for all of their help and support.

Body up indicators
February 07 sees the launch of our body up warning system. This device will be used on all tipper vehicles to indicate that the tipper body has been raised above the chassis and is a current legal requirement.
