The directors of GN systems Ltd* would like to announce that Mr. Gerry Russell has retired from the business as of October 31st 2013. Please can you update your records accordingly.
This brings us to the end of a 30 year era, during which time we have seen many ups and downs as well as a change in direction for the business. GN systems initially traded as contracting electricians but under Gerry’s guidance and his acceptance of ‘new’ technologies has developed into a company specialising in electronics with a current workforce 31 strong. He has left us able to compete strongly in the market place both locally and nationally.
Gerry’s retirement is our loss but organisations such as the Bolton Hospice, Smithills High School Brass Band and the Freemasons with whom he has devoted much of his time will no doubt reap the rewards from the ‘extra’ time his retirement will now allow.
We extend our sincere thanks, as well as our best wishes to Gerry on his much deserved retirement.

This is a system for cleaning mud/dust from vehicle reversing cameras without the driver needing to leave the safety of the cab. Very simple to install and can be retrofitted to almost any type of reversing camera.

Although set up for the camera, this is a great example of how tipping trailers can overturn on un-level ground and the damage it can cause. A tipper can become unstable and overturn when tipping on a cross slope as low as 5º. There are many factors that can contribute to a tipper overturn, these include poor maintenance of the chassis and suspension, not tipping with the tractor and trailer in line, load sticking on one side of the body, uneven or overloading and strong cross winds. However, the number one factor in tipper rollovers is tipping on and incline or on soft ground that cause the trailer to sink in and lean.
